About The Sandman
The Sandman is a comic book series written by Neil Gaiman with artwork provided by Sam Kieth, Mike Dringenberg, Jill Thompson, Shawn McManus, Marc Hempel, Bryan Talbot, and Michael Zulli. It was published by DC Comics with the cover art provided by Dave Mckean. Having received critical acclaim The Sandman is one of the only few graphic novels to appear on the New York Times bestseller list.
The story of the Sandman follows Morpheus, also known as Dream as the titular Sandman. Morpheus or Dream is one of seven Endless (along with Destiny, Death, Desire, Despair, Delirium and Destruction). The series blends mythology, history and horror in the DC universe.
